- Background in Expressive Arts Therapies
- Training in Domestic Violence and Advocacy
- Certified TARA Approach Practitioner
- Utilizes an experiential approach
I am obtaining my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology
at Prescott College with an interest and focus on Expressive Arts Therapy,
body-centered therapies, and attachment work. I am trained in Gestalt Therapy, Inner Bonding, trauma resolution, and I
am a certified TARA Approach practitioner.
My clinical background thus far has been working with victims of
domestic violence and with issues related to trauma.
I draw upon developmental, individual, and systemic models
of therapy with a transpersonal perspective and a focus on somatic techniques
and mindfulness practices. I am also
aware of and sensitive to the unique differences which arise out of race,
gender, social class, and sexual orientation.
I seek to address the “whole” person from a social, cultural, and
transpersonal awareness.
My approach is an integration of mind-body communication and an individual and systemic, strengths-based practice. I combine my comprehensive training, clinical skills, and personal experiences to support people on their own unique journey towards personal growth.
