I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Somatic Counseling Psychology at
Naropa University with a concentration in Body Psychotherapy and Dance/Movement Therapy. I completed my BA in Contemplative Psychology with an emphasis on Somatic Psychology from Naropa in 2009. As a result of my passion for the field of neuroscience, I received a certificate in Neurofeedback Training from the EEG Institute in 2009.
My therapeutic work is strongly influenced by a holistic view of the human experience. I believe memories and insights do not reside only between our ears, but are held throughout our whole being. By bringing skillful attention to the body our therapeutic work will help unlock areas of strength and wisdom. I view this integration as an influential step towards health and healing. I am also influenced by the creative arts which I believe is deeply tied to styles of communication, relationship, and development.
My clinical experience includes working with a diverse range of populations including young children, adolescents, college-age students, adults, and seniors from various backgrounds. I have experience working with individuals who identify as/with historically marginalized and/or non-dominant groups.
