PROFESSIONAL BIO

I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts degree in the Clinical Mental Health track at the University of Colorado Denver. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Colorado State University. One of my passions is to understand and serve individuals with disabilities and I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist.

Through my clinical and professional experience I have worked with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds including college students, military veterans, and seniors. I have experience working with trauma issues, vocational counseling, substance abuse, grief and loss issues, and crisis management. Much of the work I have done has been with underserved and underprivileged populations.

I strive to create a collaborative, holistic approach to therapy. I support the development of skills to empower the individual while providing a space to develop greater self-awareness. My work is influenced by strength-based, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral therapies.
