At least 24 hours advanced notice must be provided if a session needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. All changes or cancellations received with less than 24 hours notice will be billed at the regularly established rate of service unless an alternate appointment can be scheduled within the same week. Alternate appointment times, however, are set up around the clinician's schedule and may not necessarily be available. In such a case, the fee for services would be charged.
This policy was established in order to ensure that all of our clients are given the attention and care they deserve. By establishing and reserving a specific appointment for each of our clients, our counselors and clinicians are effectively removing that time from their schedules. This means they are not able to schedule another client at that time or engage in any of the other duties required of them as staff. Providing 24 hour notice of change or cancellation allows them time to free up their schedule so that they can plan other important activities. This has several important effects:
It maintains trust and respect between clients and clinicians
It supports the maintenance of a healthy therapeutic relationship
It ensures that important resources such as time, money, and energy are being used to support the goals and outcomes our clients are here to work on with their counselors and clinicians.
This policy works in the opposite direction as well. If one of our counselors or clinicians does not provide 24 hours notice of change or cancellation of an appointment time (without a good reason), the next session will be provided free of charge.
Special exceptions or accommodations may be extended regarding this policy due to extenuating circumstances such as extreme weather, legitimate emergencies, or approved exceptions to policy.
Professional Trainings Policy
Most of our professional trainings have limits to the number of participants who can register. Registration limits are set as a function of room size, mode of class delivery, and accreditation requirements. Registration for a training requires full payment and is the only way to reserve a space in that particular training.
Though full registration does reserve a space in a particular training, we understand that changes and cancellations are sometimes necessary. We are happy to work with training registrants who need to make changes weeks in advance of a given training, but we also recognize that last minute changes and cancellations often prevent other interested participants from attending a training due to the fact that a place in the training had been reserved for the original participant.
To help us ensure that our trainings are delivered at the high quality we strive to achieve, please note the following:
Changes or cancellations in registration should be made as soon as possible. Changes typically refer to transferring payment to the same or a similar training of the same value offered in the future. Cancellations typically refer to terminating the registration and requesting a refund of payment. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible to activate either of these options.
Canceling a registration and transferring it to another one of our trainings of equal value is free of charge and can be done at any time.
Canceling a registration and receiving a refund has certain time restrictions.
Full refunds minus a $30.00 administrative fee are available for cancellations made seven (7) or more business days prior to the first day of a training.
No refunds will be granted after that date, though the registration fee may be transferred to another one of our future trainings up 24 hours prior to the start date of the class.
Course registrations can be transferred up to three times. We are unable to carry an unused registration beyond three transfers. If a course participant is not able to attend after three transfers, a new registration fee is required.
Please note that if you don’t cancel and don’t attend a training for which you are registered, you are still responsible for payment of the training because the space was reserved for you. There is no refund and no transfer to another class.
In the unlikely event that Noeticus Enterprises must cancel or postpone a program for an unforeseen reason, you will be notified immediately to discuss your options. Noeticus Enterprises does not assume responsibility for any other expenses incurred by you as a result of registering for this training. Noeticus Enterprises also reserves the right to substitute expert presenters without prior notice if necessary.
