PROFESSIONAL BIO
Angie Tsiatsos Phillips received her Masters in
Somatic Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, CO in 2006. Her
post-graduate training has included a wide variety of therapeutic relationship
models including the most advanced training in Pragmatic/Experiential Therapy
for Couples (PET-C). As a Certified
Personal Trainer, Angie has also worked at integrating her love of
psychobiological health with physical fitness in support of her clients gaining
strength in both body and mind.
Furthering her passion for understanding the
mind-body connection, Angie’s work as a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) has lead
her to pursue the study of neuroscience and how one’s mind is literally wired throughout the body. From this perspective, the BodyMind is a powerful
resource for emotional and psychological health. Angie earned her undergraduate degree in
theater and enjoys singing, playing guitar, rock climbing, and training; and
passionately pursues a variety of dance forms and expressions.
